Package: libnotify-bin Version: 0.5.0-2 Severity: minor /usr/bin/notify-send dies with the following error message when DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS is not set:
$ unset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS $ notify-send test (notify-send:1202): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed Please emit a more sensible error message.
