Package: tofrodos
Version: 1.7.8.debian.1-2
Severity: normal
Tags: lfs

Please compile with large file support, i.e. add the
following two lines to debian/rules:

CFLAGS+=$(shell getconf LFS_CFLAGS)
LDFLAGS+=$(shell getconf LFS_LDFLAGS)

just after the existing line "CFLAGS= (...)".

This fixes two bugs:

1) The program cannot handle files actually larger than 2GiB/4GiB

2) More importantly, when running an i386 (32 bit) tofrodos on a 64
bit kernel, the stat()/lstat() call can fail because of an overflow
in the st_ino field, in a directory that is a CIFS mount of a
network share served by a Windows server.
