This bug has been fixed in the upstream version.

As soon as the the next stable version comes out, debian will (hopefully)
upgrade their
packages to take advantage of all the new features and

If you disconnect a device that gtkterm is accessing it, i.e, /dev/ttyUSB0,
immediately it got freezes
and cpu usage is increased up 100% because gtkterm it self.
It seems to be non well handle exception in the program.
