Might you have possibly added something to ca-certificates-java that is
waiting to be passed a --fresh env variable? I'm working on an upload
to fix a few other items and thought if there is and env var we can
agree on, I might get it squeezed in for this update.

Hi,
the option --fresh for update-ca-certificates should be passed down to the hook
scripts. The least intrusive way would be to set some environment variable
which can be evaluated by the hook script. The functionality is needed
