reboot and starting the application by clicking a movie file, the
problem was found to be resolved. Hereafter, starting the program from
the Kickoff Application
Exactly the same happens here, Debian GNU/Linux 6.0 "Squeeze" x86_64
(2.6.32-5-amd64).
KPlayer and its dependencies were recently added to a working and
fully configured kde-standard dekstop. But the application cannot be
started, giving the aforementioned segmentation fault. The mplayer
