Hi, To add to this bug report, I noticed a problem with debcommit -r when tagging a native package: it does not add the 'debian/' prefix, which gbp buildpackage adds, and seems to be the preferred way.
Inconsistencies aside, there is no way to customise this behaviour, so this means I should just stop using debcommit, which is a pity. -- Martín Ferrari (Tincho)
