Package: powertop Severity: normal Hi,
powertop wants to read from /proc/acpi/battery/ which is the result of a deprecated kernel option called CONFIG_ACPI_PROCFS_POWER. This kernel option is documented as "will be deleed in 2.6.39", but is still present in 3.0.3. Please consider using a patch from linaro (http://git.linaro.org/gitweb?p=tools/powertop.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/linaro, http://git.linaro.org/gitweb?p=tools/powertop.git;a=commit;h=f577943b23db8a81812475f6c2f291e5b1a81fde) which will make powertop read from the currently supported interfaces.
