Hi, I´m not entirely sure this is the same problem, but it seems likely: /etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/scim-immodule checks for immodules in /usr/lib*/gtk-2.0 (and the equivalent for Qt), ignoring the multi-arch paths and consequently missing /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/gtk-2.0/2.10.0/immodules/im-scim.so. AFAICT this seems to be a left-over from fixing #640629.
The quick fix should be just a two-liner, but it might warrant a better look at these scripts.
