package ipvsadm unarchive 649106 reopen 649106 merge 649106 706202 thanks Hi,
This bug is still present in the released wheezy version (1:1.26-1) of ipvsadm. The given patch has not been completely applied, which makes the SYNCID variable rather useless. It still needs the --syncid options adding to the start-daemon lines (see original patch). I would sugges that syncid "0" be used as a default instead of "1", to avoid changing the operation of current systems. e.g. in /etc/init.d/ipvsadm, set: SYNCID="0" and then in /etc/default/ipvsadm have something like: # You can set the syncid to use here (defaults to "0") # SYNCID="1" Thanks, Matthew -- Matthew Newton, Ph.D. <m...@le.ac.uk> Systems Specialist, Infrastructure Services, I.T.
