I can confirm that I have NO further sound errors in the following kernels:

The rest is still to be tested.

It seems this has solved it, until further notice.
You might want to keep the bug open for a while,
so I can check with all the kernels (it works with latest).

I would say when ALSA gets loaded into kernel ?
And then it persists there after I log into the system.
