Package: colord Version: 0.1.16-1 Severity: serious Justification: Policy 6.2 (?)
Dear maintainer, Installing colord on a clean system, I get an error in the postinst, and package configuration fails: chown: invalid user: `colord:colord` I think this is because the chown is attempted before the colord user/group is created. [This seems to be a different error to bug #648287, which talks about the scanner group.] Kind regards, Tim -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages colord depends on: ii acl 2.2.51-5 ii adduser 3.113+nmu1 ii libc6 2.13-25 ii libcolord1 0.1.16-1 ii libglib2.0-0 2.30.2-6 ii libgudev-1.0-0 175-3 ii liblcms2-2 2.2+git20110628-2 ii libpolkit-gobject-1-0 0.104-1 ii libsane 1.0.22-7 ii libsqlite3-0 3.7.9-3 ii multiarch-support 2.13-25 ii policykit-1 0.104-1 colord recommends no packages. colord suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
