I've managed to get a backtrace of (what I assume is) the same crash:

I'm also seeing this bug with some regularity using Thunar's gvfs
support to manage files on a remote SMB share. Interestingly, for me
the bug is being triggered by gvfsd-smb, rather than gvfsd-sftp.
In fact, I've just tried to move three files
