Sorry it me so long to reply, the last couple weeks have been unusually busy... I think the rationale behind fdo-icon-theme still holds, but I don't plan to package pa-applet anymore in the short or medium term. I don't oppose using the section Miscellaneous. Thanks for looking into this.
