please rework your changelog. Only by reading the changelog I wouldn't
know why it would be appropriate to NMU it. Did you try to contact the
maintainer? The problem was reported yesterday.

you shouldn't push the standards version in a NMU.

now, that you've updated your package I finally reviewed it. These are
my comments:
* Do not set urgency=high. There is no point in doing so unless you fix
a critical security issue.
* There is an invalid changelog.dch file left over. Please remove it.
* Do not modify previous changelog
