Hi, I recently upgraded from Lenny to Squeeze and got back what I always had, adding the line test -e /usr/include/X11/bitmaps/root_weave xsetroot -bitmap /usr/include/X11/bitmaps/root_weave to the file /etc/X11/xdm/Xsetup. May be that this is a workaround for you, too. `root_weave' looks
