This bug could probably be closed as it is now possible to use device names instead of numbers for "${hwmon ...}". I tested that it works when I did my build of Conky 1.19.6-1 from Debian Sid. It was implemented in the Conky commit "https://github.com/brndnmtthws/conky/commit/14e3b80c45254743e962
