The version 1.0.1 is about to be released - it contains fix for bug # 593607 (which was closed as fixed long time ago but unfortunately it wasn't fixed) and also for lot of lesser bugs and feature requests. So stay tuned. It's almost impossible to get 1.x series into wheezy since it's in freeze state so as soon it's released new version will be in unstable.
