Follow up on this bug, I have discovered something interesting. Atomic Tanks compiles and runs with no problems if it is built using GCC 4.6. However, if I switch to using GCC 4.7 (specifically 4.7.2) then the game's memory becomes corrupted and it either displays random symbols on the Options
