Package: sqldeveloper-package
Version: 0.2.4
Severity: normal

Dear maintainer,

When running sqldeveloper for the first time after installing the
generated package, it asks for the location of a JDK.
When an invalid value is given, the program terminates without any
useful output (due to the use of x-terminal-emulator in the script).

When for example giving the value
"/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk-amd64/jre"
instead of "/usr/lib/jvm/java-6-openjdk-amd64" is given the described
behaviour is observed.

I made the mistake of specifying the jre instead of the jdk and had to
run "/usr/share/sqldeveloper/sqldeveloper.sh" to get the actual error
message.
I think it would be best to remove the use of x-terminal-emulator from
the startup script.

Thanks for your continued work on this package.

Kind regards,
Steven
