Is there any guarantee /bin/sh has a 'type' built-in utility? I guess
it will in most cases, and if it doesn't you just don't run nscd so it
should be fineā¦
Seems better to use if [ -x /usr/sbin/nscd ] ; then...
instead. Would you prefer an upload with that change?
