Uh... Apparently, this was only implemented in a more recent version of Apper... You will find the latest release of Apper very soon in Debian Experimental (as soon as it is released). Also, Apper 0.8.x might be backported to Wheezy (but there's a larger amount of porting needed). Cheers,
