Hi, I'm almost certain the "old" top used to include processes that were in the "D" state in idle mode. This was very convenient because it was possible to see at a glance what processes a high load average is due to. The "new" top only lists processes that actually consumed CPU time in 'idle' mode. While this is certainly a valid interpretation of 'idle', I'd still like the ability to filter out processes that spend all their time in the "S" state and show all the rest. Thanks.
