Package: synaptic
Version: 0.75.13
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,
   * What led up to the situation?

Trying to add a debian mirror via synaptic

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Go to settings - > repositories and add a repo.

   * What was the outcome of this action?

I got a blank filed to enter a mirror.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

There should be an option to choose a debian mirror from a list, similar to how
debian installer offers during installation.

See #698336 as well for a similar request to gnome-packagekit
