The guest is MS Windows 7. It's running vdagent.exe and vdservice.exe,
both have version 0.5.1.0 (at least that's what the EXE metadata
says).

On current Debian sid, virt-manager works fine for me with Spice
channels, including keyboard. Can you still reproduce this bug on
Debian testing or sid?
Still reproducible in testing (virt-manager 1:1.0.1-2).
