I needed a multi-arch version of mhash in order to deal with a funny cross-architecture dependency. As long as I was tweaking it, I went ahead and fully updated the mhash packaging info, including the incorporation of the Fedora patches which address the "make check" bug, #649092, and perhaps also #429180. The result is available in git://anonscm.debian.org/collab-maint/mhash.git Since the last maintenance upload was in 2009, I've taken the liberty of adding myself as a co-maintainer in the control file and uploading a non-NMU version to delayed+15. Of course if you'd like, please feel totally free to cancel that, and/or to just cherry pick whatever subset of my tweaks you might want and remove me from the control file.
