I am unable to duplicate this bug with abiword 3.0.1-6 on current Debian 'testing' using the GNOME desktop environment.
Please verify whether you are still experiencing this bug or if it has been fixed. The Abiword developers ask to make sure you have appropriate Asian fonts installed. Thank you, Jeremy
