Dear Maintainer, I had been using bittornado for command line bittorrent downloading. I switched to the bittorrent package, and got errors starting either btlaunchmany or btlaunchmanycurses. Downloading using the --minport command line option works correctly for btlaunchmanycurses.bittornado and btlaunchmany.bittornado as well as btdownloadcurses.bittorrent and btdownloadheadless.bittorrent. Hover, it was not successful using either the btlaunchmany.bittorrent or btlaunchmanycurses.bittorrent commands. For example: bminton@bminton:~/download$ btlaunchmanycurses --minport 52822 --maxport 52823 . Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/btlaunchmanycurses", line 333, in <module> dropdir_mainloop(argv[1], argv[2:]) File "/usr/bin/btlaunchmanycurses", line 44, in dropdir_mainloop files = listdir(d) OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '--minport' According to the man page, the btlaunchmany commands should accept all the commands from the bittorrent-downloader (1) man page, which includes the --minport and --maxport options. The download should start, using the specified minimum and maximum port numbers. - -- System Information: Debian Release: jessie/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: amd64 Kernel: Linux 3.9.0 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages bittorrent depends on: ii lsb-base 4.1+Debian12 ii python 2.7.5-5 ii python-support 1.0.15 Versions of packages bittorrent recommends: ii mime-support 3.54 Versions of packages bittorrent suggests: pn bittorrent-gui <none> - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.15 (GNU/Linux) iEYEAREDAAYFAlJxTwMACgkQ2/alund99Iev4gCgtFYHnacm/q3/fkBsMM3ne9Jm EIQAnRCm5g6GUpv69Gs5Pj/2fmrg1KPg =25aZ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
