I am closing this bug because the jessie synergy package has been backported to wheezy by Pierre Rudloff in August 2014 with version 1.4.16-1~bpo70+1.
I am trying to clean up old bugs for synergy as the new maintainer. If I have made an error in closing this bug please reopen it and explain how it still applies.
