Hi, removing systemd fix the issue but now that systemd is the default init
system is no more a good trick ...

lxde panel does not shut down or reboot if systemd is installed.
Remove systemd [ and all dependant on it like Gnome] and
shutdown/reboot will work again.
This is important if one would like to run other desktop desktop
systems as

When I click in the reboot or shutdown button in LXDE panel, nothing happens.
I've tried this tip:
