Dear Maintainer, still no activity on this one? Meanwhile the servers in question are running mysql-server-5.5 version 5.5.38-0+wheezy1 (since 2014-08-07), and the breakage happened two more times, once on 2014-07-03 (repaired by setting up again on 2014-07-10; still running 5.5.37-0+wheezy1
