http://vmm.localdomain.org/installation/system_preparation.html describes 3 steps: * adduser doveauth * addgroup dovemail * mkdir $BASE_DIRECTORY The doveauth user is created by the Dovecot package (>= 2.0). The postinst script already creates the $BASE_DIRECTORY. If the postinst script would also create the dovemail group, you could remove the file doc/web/source/installation/system_preparation.rst. Otherwise you would to have to update that document. (remove `adduser doveauth', adjust or remove the $BASE_DIRECTORY part.)
