Hello, Yes, indeed it does not have much to do with Debian. I re-adjusted the code and re-developed some parts of Logwatch itself to suit my personal needs as the original version of Logwatch installed on Debian Wheezy from packages reported a lot of useless gibberish and wasted pretty much of room consuming junk, plus I slightly changed its design to make it easier / more convenient to read.
