Hi Paul, I looked back at the history of this bug and it seems like you were having problems with there being more assertion messages in wx3. Does maitreya work if you disable the assertions by adding -DNDEBUG, at least as a temporary measure? Try this in debian/rules:     export DEB_CPPFLAGS_MA
