Package: synaptic Version: 0.81.2 Severity: normal Hello,
recently, synaptic has become nearly unusable for me. Whenever I start the application or click on the "Refresh package list" icon, it takes ages to rebuild the package lists, eating up 100% CPU. I am not sure when this was introduced, but it's clearly a regression, previous versions of synaptic were as responsive as expected.
