acm often and repeatably shows a black screen. But not always.
Running via ssh -Y to a VM resulted in it working perfectly.
Running the same version (different arch) on the same host machine but
natively resulted in a black screen. In this case, pressing r (which
should change the radar mode) made the screen draw correctly, but with a
very low frame rate for the scenery while the instrument panel updated at
a sensible frame rate.
No obvious differences in the capability of the X server other than 32
(the VM) vs 64 bit (the host). Checking on a native 32 bit machine, the
bug does not show. Posting this bug as a reminder to myself for further
investigation (first, chasing down lots of compiler warnings?).
