Please unblock package cython It has been uploaded and bug-free in sid for 18 days, so long before the freeze date. The only reason it didn't propagate since some build bots (mips, mipsel) were diying off during cython's tests. This is a bugfix release on top of what we have got now in jessie, and it seems to resolve freshly refiled (we had similar #755340) https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=768689 I will not bother with debdiff since it is large -- there was lots of changes since jessie's version and 0.21.1-1 objectively should have got into it I am aware of a single regression (did build-testing of all reverse build-depends, attaching a protocol) in kivy which I am going to report/submit a patch later today.
