Package: gdisk
Version: 0.8.10-1
Severity: wishlist

Greetings! gdisk has short pseudo-codes available in its type list
for Linux filesystem, Linux RAID, etc. [1] claims to define a type
code for LUKS partitions, and I wasn't able to find any conflicting
definitions on the Web. I would thus appreciate it if it could be
added to the gdisk type list (after the maintainer verifies the lack
of apparent conflict):

Short: 83ec (or whatever the gdisk maintainer finds appropriate)
  Long: ca7d7ccb-63ed-4c53-861c-1742536059cc
  Name: Linux encrypted
    (or: Linux LUKS)

(This is very marginally related to #768897, in that the lack of an
obvious LUKS type in gdisk resulted in my deciding on the ambiguous
partition typing that triggered that, just for the record.)
