No, I don't think this would be a good solution. If you can't install
libgdm1, you won't be able to install gdm3 and eventually not
Dear all,
In a recent upgrade to jessie I found this bug, and I found a workaround.
Since this was an upgrade, I had gdm3 installed, I changed to lightdm, and I
found that I could not switch users.
In a different system (clean install, install directly mate and lightdm) switch
user worked as
