The Debian bug report was closed but the change never reached Debian thus reopening. gnome-software: Allow offline system updates https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=787485 Could it be applied to Debian (I have not tested if the patch works with a local rebuild)? This would allow me to upgrade deb packages from gnome-software that would be great. I really don't want to reboot at each Sid package update.
