Hello,

SimGrid provides some NS3 bindings since a long time, where the NS
models can be used in place of the SimGrid ones.

The version 3.12 of SimGrid (released monday) tries to use the Debian
version of NS3 when found, but it fails with the following error:
lib/libsimgrid.so.3.13: undefined reference to
  ns3::PacketSinkHelper::PacketSinkHelper(std::__cxx11::basic_string<char,
  std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> >, ns3::Address)'
lib/libsimgrid.so.3.13: undefined reference to
  ns3::internal::MakeUintegerChecker(unsigned long, unsigned long,
  std::__cxx11::basic_string<char, std::char_traits<char>,
  std::allocator<char> >)'
lib/libsimgrid.so.3.13: undefined reference to
  ns3::ObjectFactory::Set(std::__cxx11::basic_string<char,
  std::char_traits<char>, std::allocator<char> >, ns3::AttributeValue
  const&)'
[...]

I think that the transition is now needed.

Thanks for your work,
Mt.

This paper needs a major rewrite to fix the English, make it more
concise, explain clearly what exactly is the performance evaluation
methodology, and how it is different from the obvious.
