Package: webalizer
Version: 2.23.05-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

>From the webalizer manpage:

o A default configuration file is scanned for. A file named
webalizer.conf is searched for in the current directory, and if
found, it's configuration data is parsed. If the file is not
present in the current directory, the file /etc/webalizer.conf
is searched for and, if found, is used instead.

This is wrong; the Debian version has apparently been modified to use
/etc/webalizer/webalizer.conf instead.

("it's" is also incorrect, by the way.)

Similarly:

webalizer.conf Default configuration file. Is searched for in the
current directory and if not found, in the /etc/
                           directory.

Although this change is mentioned in README.Debian, the way it is
written suggests that only the '/etc/cron.daily/webalizer' script
deals with the /etc/webalizer subdirectory. In any case, it is a bug
for the program not to do what the manpage says it does.
