In my case such reports seems often precede the complete lock-down of the system. It used to work just fine, and I don't see similar *ERROR* messages in older entries, but with some recent upgrade within testing/sid things became really unstable. Seems I get into complete lockdown once or twice daily, couldn't figure out any trigger yet, but here is the traceback and some surrounding events I see in the journal:
