Package: gnupg-agent Version: 2.0.28-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
* What led up to the situation? When "pinentry-program /usr/bin/pinentry-gtk-2" is in ~/.gnupg/gpg-agent.conf or pinentry-gtk-2 is set a an alternative for pinentry, gpg gives: gpg: problem with the agent - disabling agent use Enter passphrase: In log: gpg-agent[18349]: chan_7 -> ERR 67109124 Invalid IPC response <GPG Agent> It works fine with pinentry gnome and curses. Also pinentry-gtk-2 works fine when used directly, that is why I post the bug here. -- System Information: Debian Release: stretch/sid APT prefers testing-updates APT policy: (500, 'testing-updates'), (500, 'testing'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=pl_PL.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=pl_PL.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages gnupg-agent depends on: ii libassuan0 2.3.0-1 ii libc6 2.19-22 ii libgcrypt20 1.6.4-3 ii libgpg-error0 1.20-1 ii libpth20 2.0.7-20 ii libreadline6 6.3-8+b3 ii pinentry-curses [pinentry] 0.9.6-4 ii pinentry-gnome3 [pinentry] 0.9.6-4 ii pinentry-gtk2 [pinentry] 0.9.6-4 ii pinentry-tty [pinentry] 0.9.6-4 Versions of packages gnupg-agent recommends: ii gnupg 1.4.19-6 ii gnupg2 2.0.28-3 ii gpgsm 2.0.28-3 gnupg-agent suggests no packages. -- Configuration Files: /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90gpg-agent changed [not included] --bject: gnupg-agent does not work with pinentry-gtk2 "problem with the agent - disabling agent use" Package: gnupg-agent Version: 2.0.28-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, * What led up to the situation?
