Hello, I am about to upload 2018.2 of alfred. Over here I just start alfred manually after every boot. Admittedly, an init script would be nicer. I have seen the one you referenced but I do not think batman-vis etc should be started together with alfred. That should be another init script. And, in an ideal world that should be part of the upstream source tree. We (you) should hence plan to contribute that (these) back.
