Package: dh-python Version: 2.20151103 Severity: normal python3:Provides has never been supported in Python policy - it currently says, "Provides should only be rarely used for Python packages and never for Python 3." In the section of dh_python3 that (in current git) that starts at line 191, dh_python3 provides support for python3:Provides just like we did for python:Provides.
I suspect this is a leftover that was just carried forward, but it should be removed and replaced with a warning of some sort.
