Package: pm-utils
Version: 1.4.1-15
Severity: important

Hi,

I've recently bought a new laptop (Lenovo G70-70, model 80HW)
Since I own it, any debian version I've tested (stable and testing)
were leading to the same problem :
I can put the computer to suspend-to-ram, but when I wake-up it, it will
randomly either :
- Reboot
- Kernel Panic (CAPS LOCK blinking, no more control, black screen without
backlight)
- seem awake (black screen, no backlight, keyboard not responsive)
- resume properly : screen is on, everything is OK.

I've noticed that it will resume correctly more often if I resume it a few
seconds/minutes after having putted it
on suspend, and it will always fail after a whole night.

I've also tried TuxOnIce suspend-to-disk, but had the same behavior (good
resume if powered on just after suspend, fail if wait for a night...)

I've tried to blacklist mei_me and mei modules, while in singleuser mode, but
no more success...

I'm ready to test patches, and other things !
