For the same reasons for openjdk-6 last year (#796099), please remove openjdk-7 from unstable. It is still kept and updated in experimental, since this is the staging ground for the security updates for wheezy and jessie. Removing it from unstable avoids confusion and users installing outdated, insecure binaries. mattia@coccia ~ % dak rm -Rn openjdk-7 avian openjdk-7-jre-dcevm Will remove the following packages from unstable: [...] Checking reverse dependencies... # Broken Depends: libreoffice: libreoffice-subsequentcheckbase Dependency problem found. dak rm -Rn openjdk-7 avian openjdk-7-jre-dcevm 17.20s user 0.83s system 36% cpu 50.039 total mattia@coccia ~ % Now, I think that broken depends is a misdetection of dak that thinks libreoffice-subsequentcheckbase recursively depends on openjdk-7 through a virtual package provided (also) by it, so it should good to force. -- regards, Mattia Rizzolo GPG Key: 66AE 2B4A FCCF 3F52 DA18 4D18 4B04 3FCD B944 4540 .''`. more about me: http://mapreri.org : :' : Launchpad user: https://launchpad.net/~mapreri `. `'` Debian QA page: https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=mattia `-
