Package: maxima-emacs Version: 5.38.0-3 Severity: wishlist I never use maxima-doc (prefer online help); I do not use maxima on my netbook. However, sometimes I print maxima files on my netbook from emacs using M-x ps-print-buffer-with-faces I suspect that maxima-emacs does not need neither maxima nor maxima-doc for its highlighting purposes. Moreover, some people (including myself) prefer to compile maxima manually rather than using Debian package. I find it unjustified that maxima-emacs depends on maxima and maxima-doc. I suggest separating these three packages (like it was in good old times): One should be able to use each of them without installing the other two.
