Hi, I have been experiencing the same frequent random crashes in IceDove 1:45.1.0-1~deb8u1 as reported in bugs #829188 and #828069. I have done some debugging that might be of help:
- The crash exists even after disabling all add-ons, and recreating the user profile from scratch (by deleting .icedove). - The crash does NOT happen with upstream binaries (Thunderbird 45.2.0) with the same add-ons, mailboxes, and profile. (I renamed .icedove to .thunderbird). Thus the problem is either introduced by IceDove's repackaging, or resolved upstream between TB 45.1 and 45.2. Cheers, Hadi
