Thanks a lot for the work you have done. Do you even want to take over
the maintenance of this package? I do not use it anymore and it would
be very welcome with a more interested maintainer than myself.

Um, too much for a patch. I decided to provide an updated
debian.tar.xz. Unpack it on top of the orig.tar and see for yourself.
There were also two little time bombs, now defused.
